2 Week Intensive Grooming Course 
Suitable for those with some animal handling experience, our 2 week grooming course is an intensive grooming course designed to provide students with a basic understanding of industry specific grooming techniques. 
During this course you will learn correct bathing, drying and brushing techniques, the art of clipping, scissoring and basic styling, enabling you to enter the industry as a groomer.  The course is 85% hands on and will enable you to be able to complete full grooms by the end of the 8 day course. This course will give you the skills needed to assess the customers needs and wants with their dogs grooming process.

​4 Week Intensive Grooming Course

Our 4 week intensive course is an in-depth grooming training course and is designed to help get you ready to enter the industry. The course is designed to help students understand all aspects of grooming from scissoring and grooming techniques, breed clips, head styling, shampoo and conditioner ingredients, coat types, skin issues, animal first aid and more, the course covers all the practical skills needed to become a professional groomer.

9:30am - 3:30pm

Certification

Become a fully certified groomer and complete ACM30122 Certificate III in Animal Care Services - Dog Grooming. Our partnership with the registered RTO, Heiniger Academy, allows you to be assessed by qualified assessors according to the national standards while completing your courses. Get the skills needed to walk into an existing grooming job or start off on your own. Not only that, students will also walk away with their Pet First Aid Certificate.

Practical assessments will be completed on site during course times. 

Includes 40 hours online study via Heiniger Academy.
